the next litter in USA
2010
"Kennel vom Boehmerwald"
Richmond, TX
We want to introduce you to the future parents of the Y-litter
"Kennel vom Boehmerwald".

Mother: "Ulka z Pozdisovskej doliny",

Mother: Uska Janin Ranc

Father: Ben Biely rodo

Born in Slovakia, shown in Slovakia and USA with good results.
X-ray proven, FCI pedigree but also registered with AKC/FSS.

She was mated o
n Dec. 06, 2009
in South Carolina with Bhundas Mika.

Bhundas is carrying a rare bloodline for this Rare Breed.
His father Flok Kazan Janin Ranc was born in 2001-died in 2009
His mother Aida Stastney pes also born in 2001, died also in 2009.

Birthdate for the pups
was calculated for February 10, 2010.

At the 14th day of her heat we started the 1000 mile drive to Anderson,SC. Ulka was so great in handling. At the
first night staying in a hotel she took place on her blanket and slept.
At the late afternoon we arrived at J. Mika's home and Bhundas was running around free. Good temper, friendly
behavior, beautiful male. Ulka jumped out of our car and started directly to take contact to Bhundas. It took 25
minutes of coursthip and then he was hanging for 26 minutes. We all said: This is working. So we stayed another
night in Anderson to bring them together on the following day. (Dec.7, 2009). We slept again in our "dog friendly"
motel and started home the next day.  We arrived at night at home. It was a crazy one day driving 1000 miles!
Happy to be home for all of us.

We took Ulka twice to a vet for examinations. And she changed her behavior totally. She didn't want to go out with
the "little ones", and she was laying in her nest. She changed her behavior of taking food etc. She gained weight,
typically of pregnant females.
63 days of waiting for my litter. But now are 64 days had passed and another ultrasound was made.
No pups.
We are really disappointed and all the people waiting for their first or second
Cuvac even more so!

Now we have to wait around 2 months more to try it once again, which we had not
planned in Dec, 2009.
First time in my career as a breeder ( more than 30 years) this happens! But I
learned again a lot and all preparations for this litter are also good for my next one!
Y-litter not yet, but I know, it is coming in 2010!
Ulka arriving at Houston airport
Nov. 2008.
She was 15 monts old at the time
we bought her.
