Hip Rating Comparison Chart
This chart is an image so you may
have to scroll back and forth to see the
relationship between the scoring
systems of different countries.
-The old UK system is included since many
ASD owners have dogs whose hip ratings
trace back to the old scheme.
-Other countries:N=Netherlands, S=Sweden,
CH=Switzerland,
Spain uses the German rating A-B-C
(a-normal, B-Fast Normal, C-Displasia)
FCI HD Classification: Dortmund 1991
This classification has been made up on account of the radiological features only. It is as objective as possible. This classification scheme
may be adopted for older dogs, but secondary arthrotic changes have then to be evaluated according to the age of the dog.
No msigns of Dysplasia
The femoral head and the acetabulum are congruent. The craniolateral rim appears sharp and slightly rounded. The joint space is narrow and
even. The acetabular angle according to Norberg (adapted for Pos.I) is about 105 degrees (as a reference).
